We hold space for moments of safe intimacy. We watch old patterns start collecting dust. We flow between the unnameable and murky to open and clear in the same hour. What once was closed becomes lifted.
The space we hold to house vulnerability is as infinitely complex as it is sacred and joyful. Truly, if a dream job exists, this is it.
Alas, the Isolation
The same solitude of private practice that is vital nourishment can also be a bit dreadful.
We need a wealth of social connection behind us to give us the stability necessary to be that good enough other. But after a breakup, when you’re raising kids, or just any person attempting life in this city, feeling a stable flow of a connection can feel out of reach.
Holding expansive space requires an inner vastness, but the one holding space needs holding too. Patients heal best when they feel genuine investment from their therapist, and therapists do best when they feel also genuinely held by their community.
A Loving Workplace

We do too! And to do this work longterm with vitality and joy, you must!
In this suite, coworkers learn each other’s names, and the rest is up to you. Create referral partners that know who you really love to work with. Find relationships with community minded providers so others know what’s coming up for you lately clients. After that hard conversation at 6pm on Wednesday, you know who you can count on to offer a steadying word.
But everyone in this suite will understand the deep breath you take before you check your email on Monday. (Maybe we get together in the kitchen and do it together?)
Connection and Solitude—On Your Own Time
The space is flexible — it gets you on the days you want to be in the office without being perceived or at best mumble ‘Knicks in 5’ and shut the door. It’s here for days when you want to smirk about something or lay out an impossible dilemma.
Let's Not
Sustaining long-term vibrancy with your practice is inevitable with the right conditions. To keep the work joyful, we mustn't do it alone. Let’s not?

We met where much of this busy city gets it’s social time: at work! We first connected over insistence that this work is first of all, joyful.

Our 5 office suite is located at 32 Union Square East suite 1104 overlooking the park. Our estimated opening date is September 1, 2026.
We’re working closely with our architect and a designer friends to bring you the most calming space possible. We have a communal area with a table set into the floorplan for breaks and kitchen table time. Our father and son contractor duo are working steadily to bring our vision to life, including sourcing solid wood doors and speciality insulation for soundproofing. In the meantime, we’re sourcing art, the right couches, and a million sound machines.
